St. Benedict Respect life Ministry, Johns Creek, GA

The St. Benedict Respect Life ministry unites with the Church as both a voice and support for the value and dignity of all human life from conception until natural death through life affirming projects and educational activities. Included in our activities are support for crisis pregnancy centers, prayer for the unborn and their parents, and activities that provide our parishioners opportunities to participate in our efforts.

Walking with Moms in needs

This program relates to a year of service where Catholic parishes and communities "walk in the shoes" of local pregnant and parenting women in need. A support system in our parish to help moms in difficult circumstances. We accompany them and while not trying to turn Catholic parishes into pregnancy centers, we can find and share many local resources which are already in place with pregnant and parenting women base on their need.

Living Truth, Rex Elliott

Happy 2022 St. Benedict Parish! Each new year holds the promises of God’s blessings, new opportunities, and all the potential that life holds. There is plenty of disconcerting news and temptation circulating within our society as the bearers of bad news and the easy path work to gain our attention. Instead of focusing on the priorities of others, let’s focus on strengthening our faith, family and community.

Psalm 56:11 “In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?”

Trust in God is not easy when difficult choices present themselves. God often asks us to make hard choices and personal sacrifices which are not pleasant at the time; however, making the right choice always reveals unforeseen blessings. Let’s have courage so we might show others facing difficult choices how our faith guides us and brings peace.
